Floor Lamps You'll Love: Some of My Favorite Industrial Floor Lamps
It’s 5:45pm right now in New York and the sun is just about going down. In 10 short days, DayLight Savings begins!
I absolutely despise setting the clocks back in the Fall… I think it’s so outdated, I don’t understand why we have to do it anymore. I’m so anti- “Fall-back”, that most clocks in my home (with the exception of appliances) I don’t actually turn back. Therefore once “Spring-ahead” comes around, I don’t have to take all the clocks off the wall to change them. So needless to say, I can’t wait for Daylight Savings and more sunlight!!
Speaking of more light- It seems like I’ve been on the hunt recently for floor lamps for just about every home I’m working on. A lot of the living rooms I’m currently in are lacking ceiling lighting, so table side lamps and floor lamps are being incorporated to make up for it.
If you saw my instagram stories, I never really had a “thing” for floor lamps, and that’s due in part to the fact that most are just so unappealing to the eye. Am I wrong about this? Don’t most floor lamps look weak or cheap? Does anyone know what I mean by this or am I crazy?
Anyways, I’m a huge fan of Pottery Barn floor lamps- they seem to put a lot of thought into the look of their lamps. However- at a whopping $350 and up for a floor lamp, the frugal part of me wants the same look for less.
So this post will focus on:
My favorite floor lamps- with most being much more reasonably priced that Pottery Barn.

(PB ones are included in this post however… in case you want to wait for a 20% coupon and buy one. Frugal Tip: If you have a big order to purchase at PB and haven’t gotten a 20% coupon, look on eBay or Mercari, you can often buy one for under $5 from someone who has one. They simply email you the code after you purchase it… and you can end up saving $100’s depending upon what you’re buying)
First up, My Most Favorite Find:
Pottery Barn’s Copy Cat
Pottery Barn’s Lamp: The Warren Pulley Task Floor Lamp: $399 plus shipping and processing, bringing it to just under $500!!!! I mean you’re more than welcome to buy this… click on the picture to be brought directly to the lamp. But why would you.. when you can buy three or four of them for the same price?!
The Dupe: This copy cat is almost exact- and on sale for $117.99. The best part… It’s available in three colors, and I’m kinda of digging the gold. Click on the pictures for direct links. It’s completely adjustable and the bottom wheel can move up or down the pole.
Does it not look exactly the same??!!
Next up:
My Pottery Barn Lamp pictured in my opening photo. $399. Disclaimer: I paid $250 when it was on sale with free shipping, so if you love it as much as I do, you might want to wait. It’s adjustable. (Click on image for direct link)
